It’s us -- Christen and Sarah Landry. We have
exciting news!! We have created a new business called "THE
REDHEADS". The Redheads
is the result of customers and friends who love the food at Kejara's
Bridge. They asked and encouraged us to offer our sassy and naturally
delicious creations in food stores, so our customers enjoy our award-winning
recipes at home.
Last year, the Mercantile in Leland and Hansen’s in Suttons Bay
gave us the opportunity to test whether there might be a market for our
products.
Boy, is there! Being intrepid entrepreneurs, and after seven years of
focusing exclusively on Kejara’s, we’re now offering our
authentic sauces, dressings and spreads to select food and specialty
stores.
All the things you want in your
food – and none of the things you don't!
The Redheads’ products are made from scratch with natural ingredients.
You actually can taste the freshness. No added sugar, stabilizers or
preservatives, non-dairy – good food that’s good for you.
We are introducing our products to local specialty stores across Northwestern
lower Michigan this winter. We’re delighted to note that The Redheads’ products
have been practically flying off the shelves in the select stores carrying
our line. Thank you! By the end of 2004 we plan to have our products
in stores all over the state.
The Redheads offers five products:
Creamy Ginger Garlic Sauce – versatile
and fabulous over vegetables, eggs, pasta…
Balsamic Vinaigrette– not
like any BV you ever tasted, Emeril would say Bam!
Garlic Hummus – it’s
becoming a cult item – what more can we say?
Sundried Hummus – sundried
tomatoes, of course, great for dipping.
Pesto Hummus - defiantly dynamic indeed!
